NIPPO Chiba Branch 2016 Spring

It's a crazy busy time for me right now, and to be honest I'm getting a bit too swamped. Why oh why when I'm so busy do I keep adding more things to do? Because they're damn fun and we only live once.

Was in Tokyo all day yesterday working, then dropped by a client's hospital's 25th anniversary party, and ended up karaoke'ing and having drinks in Roppongi with friends. All this to be back home and up by 5 to head out to the Chiba branch show. Masa's in pretty good condition, and I've put a fair bit of work into getting him show ready. There were over 200 entries, but unfortunately he was the only one in his class, so while we still got an excellent and wakainu prize, I hope next time we'll have some competition in the ring. Masa stacked like a champ.

It was fun hanging out with friends as always, and getting to see all the new pups that will be shown this fall. Now I've gotten home, walked my 8 dogs, showered, and it's time to start doing my taxes. The deadline for that is the 15th. Wish me luck.

Breeding Programs

Oh it's a beautiful term. Sounds so slick as it rolls off the tongue and gives an air of 'I know what I'm doing'. But really, what all is your 'program'? I mean, what's mine? With no snark intended, let's think about that for a minute.

And a random PSA:
It's time to pay your membership dues to NIPPO, AKIHO, KKA, HKH etc etc. After April you will have to pay an additional registration fee.

Frank alive and well. For now anyway. Get too adventurous and I know all the dogs are just waiting for chicken dinner. Some roosters just can't be saved from themselves.

Just looked at blog views for last month, and it was the highest month ever. Thanks for dropping by!

I Guess's pretty easy to tell when I'm busy. I just stop blogging. Don't worry, I'll be back soon. It's tax season and the end of the fiscal year so I'm busy as all hell.

Random fact: Baron is the heaviest he's ever been. Even my vet was surprised. I've managed to get enough calories into him this hunting season, so he never hit skin and bone mode. Usually if I try to keep up with the calorie burn, at some point it overloads his digestive system and he gets diarrhea. He's sitting at a lean, mean, muscly 25kg now.

It's a warm day. Spring warm. I'm in a T-shirt at 9am smelling the smells of spring on the warm breeze. Life's good.
